Kaylin's going to have...

A SISTER!!!! I can't wait to have two cute little girls! I hope they'll be the best of friends!

We found out on the 23rd. Nathan was pretty bummed it wasn't a boy...(for the 2nd time). But he got over it! :) I was debating on names for a couple days and getting pretty frustrated that nothing seemed right and Nathan wasn't helping me at all! Well finally the other day he goes "I think we should name her Taylor....Taylor Ann." And it clicked...that's what our little girls name is supposed to be! So excited to meet you in a few months Taylor!

He's ALL mine!!!

Don't be jealous!

Nathan ordered these pants off Ebay a while ago. They're skinny jeans and totally NOT his style. I must say he looks pretty smokin' hot in them though!

I don't think the Army is ready for this!

Time to Update!!

Here's a couple picks of Kaylin to get through all the reading to come! She is a wild child! She likes to climb onto the coffee table now and this is the face I get anytime I get the camera out. She is such a cheeseball!

Sorry its been so long! I do have some excuses I promise! Mostly its just been the usual holiday busy-ness and the one year old busy-ness, and the pregnant tired-ness. But we are also in the process of moving. Well I'm moving and Nathan's going to basic training for the army. Yep, thats right my husband joined the army. I have some really mixed feelings about it but we really do feel its the right thing for our family right now. I kinda wish this had come at a different time but thats how life goes, right? Things never happen when you want them to or how you want them to. He leaves on December 30th to Fort Benning, Georgia. He'll be there for about 14 weeks. After that he'll be back for a week or so and then we'll either get stationed somewhere or get sent to Iraq. Hopefully he won't go to Iraq right away. Me and Kaylin are going to stay with my mom and dad while he is gone. So once again we are packing our stuff and moving. This will be 3 moves within a year!

On a lighter note, I had a Dr.'s appointment on Tuesday and we got hear the heartbeat. There is actually a baby in there...and I know I still don't look very pregnant...but there is proof! This one's gonna be fiesty too, like Kaylin, because it kept kicking the monitor and moving around everywhere (or it could have been the Coke I drank an hour before the appointment????). We have an ultrasound scheduled for the 23rd so that we can hopefully find out what it is before Nathan leaves. I'll only be about 18 weeks so cross your fingers that they'll be able to see! (For my pre baby friends reading this...20 weeks or later is best for seeing the baby parts:)

Anyone wanna come help me pack?? My door is always open!! :)

What the?!? How the?!?

I was doing the dishes earlier and Kaylin was just playing with her toys. I would look over and check on her every once in a while since she was being so good and quiet but she was just playing. Well I was just about done rinsing the last bit of dishes and Kaylin comes walking over to me and this is what I see! How in the world did she do that?!?! Her diaper was all the way down her leg! I just had to laugh...and take some pics of course! I love Kaylin. She makes me laugh everyday! I'm so lucky to be her mom!

It's snowing!

Our first snow of the winter!!! Kaylin didn't really know what to think about it. She was probably just thinking "its freezing out here! I wanna go back inside!". Hope everyone is staying warm! :)

Halloween '08

We dressed up for our ward party last night. It was a lot of fun. Me and Nathan's costumes were way last minute. Kaylin was so cute in her Lady Bug costume. She kept the hood on all night. She must have known how cute she looked. She loved seeing all the little kids in their costumes, she would just walk up to them and start giggling. It was so cute!

It's getting Cold!!

Well its getting cold around here! So here's a pic of our first fire of the cold season! I love it!! I love the warm fire....NOT the cold weather!
Kaylin learned how to take her shirt off...It was funny the first time, but its going to get old really fast!
She was running away from me when I was trying to put it back on!

Kaylin is ONE!!!!!!!

Kaylin's birthday was October 12th. My parents were here on the 10th and 11th so we celebrated with them first. Here are a few pictures! She loved getting new stuff. I don't know what happened to the pictures of her blowing out the candle...I think my mom took pictures on her camera.

My mom got her suckers since she can't really have any other kind of treat!
Eating Sherbet. She loved it!...Despite the look on her face.
Playing with her balloons. She was so scared of them at first. It was so funny. But she finally warmed up to them.
Riding in her wagon.
These pictures are from Nathan's parents house. She got so much stuff!!!
*forgot to add that the very cute dress she has on is from my mom and dad! I love it!
Her new bows.
Her piano...she loves this thing!! And you gotta take a closer look at that face! I just love all the faces she makes!

Eating a sucker...sorry kinda out of order.

I can't believe she's one! This year has gone by soooo fast! She is so much fun. Can't wait to see what this year brings with her!! Thanks everyone for all the presents!!! She got so spoiled.

And the results are....

Well I decided to get Kaylin tested again for her milk allergy Hoping she would be over it so she could have cake and ice cream for her b-day. Well I got the results last week...and here they are...
They rate allergies on a scale from 1-5, 5 being the worst.

cats - 2
dogs - 3
egg whites - 4
cows milk - 4
peanuts - 3
soy - 2
wheat - 3

Okay...I was alright with the milk allergy. Its pretty easy to avoid, very annoying, but pretty easy. But now egg whites?!?! and Wheat and peanuts?!?! What the heck am I supposed to feed this child?!?! So now I'm working on what to transition her to after this last can of formula is gone (I'm very done spending $26 on a can of formula). Since she's allergic to soy, thats not an option. I'm thinking about oat milk. Its pretty cool because you can make it at home for pretty cheap. Her pediatrician has given me a referral to a nutritionist so hopefully they can help me out with what to feed her. Anyone have any experience with this?? Any advice would be great!

Super Saturday

Me and my friend Shanlee are in charge of the crafts for our Super Saturday on Nov. 1st. Here's what we're doing. The signs we're doing don't look exactly like this simplify sign but they are pretty similar...we're ordering the kits offline and they are so cute! Only $14.50! Here's what they are. They can choose between Gratitude or Believe. The extra $2.50 is for shipping.

We're doing these word blocks for $6.00!! Ya, believe it. They can either do Love, Hope, Home, or Noel! Aren't they cute?! And so EASY!
These snowmen were also SOOOO easy! Only $3.00 for both snowmen.
And of course, the flower clippies...2 for $1.00. We're pretty excited. I was kinda nervous when we were asked to do this but I think they all turned out really cute. I was excited that we were able to do them for so cheap too!

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!

He came home for lunch with these!! Why??? No reason really...he said I deserved them for everything I do! And then I couldn't stop hugging and kissing him and saying I love you! He is the best! Not only does he bring me flowers for no reason....
...He is the BEST dad to Kaylin. He is so fun with her. It is so sweet to watch them interact!
He likes to teach her new things. He also....
...is the GOOFIEST person I've ever met!! He knows how to make me and everyone else laugh. He's so spontaneous...you never know what you're gonna get with him. Every day its something new. Like for example, this morning I had to run to the store and as I was pulling back into the driveway he was standing there by his truck Mooning me!! But who can blame him....
....with a bod like this!!!! OH baby! He's all mine ladies, sorry!

Nathan is such a good husband! I have been so blessed. We've been through a lot and have learned a lot together. I am so grateful for him and all he does. He is such a hard worker and does whatever he needs to do to make sure our little family is taken care of. He always compliments me on everything! He always tells my how cute I look, how good dinner was, and he always notices when I've cleaned. He always knows how to make me feel appreciated. I'm so grateful for his testimony. He knows so much about the scriptures. I love learning from him! I love how passionate he is about things he enjoys.
Babe, there's so many things I love about you and I'm so glad I get to be with you forever!

Just wanted to post some recent pics of Kaylin since she's the cutest baby ever!! :)
Eating barbecue chicken
With her walker (she's walking now tho so doesn't need it anymore...2 months after I bought the stupid thing!!!)
Kaylin and Dallan!
At my mom and dad's house
Tearing up her book and so proud of herself
She learned how to open the cupboard doors!
Don't you just love her!?!?! We sure do!

Must love dogs....

More proof of Nathan's love for his three dogs...Rufus, Daisy, and Dookie. I am not a dog person AT ALL...

Marriage = compromise.

Labor Day

Here's some pics from Labor Day. We went to St. Johns with Raine, Dusty and their kiddos. It was a lot of fun. The first pic is us on the quad...Nathan got creative with ways to take Kaylin on the quad. Kaylin loved it!
Me and Raine played some Yahtzee (of course)!! I won :) And I just have to point out Raine's rooster tail! Thats some riding hair if I ever saw it! Dusty loved it!
Nathan and his THREE dogs! Yes, we have 3 dogs...and No, I don't wanna talk about it. He's so in love with those dogs...more proof of that to come!
Kaylin and Logan were having so much fun in the pack n' play. Thats where they spent most of the day. Logan kept sitting on Kaylin and she thought it was the funniest thing ever. She was laughing at everything he did! It was so cute!
Here's her ever so famous snorty face. She does this ALL the time!

Thanks for inviting us Raine and Dusty!!! It was a lot of fun!
