Halloween '08

We dressed up for our ward party last night. It was a lot of fun. Me and Nathan's costumes were way last minute. Kaylin was so cute in her Lady Bug costume. She kept the hood on all night. She must have known how cute she looked. She loved seeing all the little kids in their costumes, she would just walk up to them and start giggling. It was so cute!

Kaylin learned how to take her shirt off...It was funny the first time, but its going to get old really fast!

Kaylin is ONE!!!!!!!

Kaylin's birthday was October 12th. My parents were here on the 10th and 11th so we celebrated with them first. Here are a few pictures! She loved getting new stuff. I don't know what happened to the pictures of her blowing out the candle...I think my mom took pictures on her camera.

My mom got her suckers since she can't really have any other kind of treat!
Eating Sherbet. She loved it!...Despite the look on her face.
Playing with her balloons. She was so scared of them at first. It was so funny. But she finally warmed up to them.
Riding in her wagon.
These pictures are from Nathan's parents house. She got so much stuff!!!
*forgot to add that the very cute dress she has on is from my mom and dad! I love it!
Her new bows.
Her piano...she loves this thing!! And you gotta take a closer look at that face! I just love all the faces she makes!

Eating a sucker...sorry kinda out of order.

I can't believe she's one! This year has gone by soooo fast! She is so much fun. Can't wait to see what this year brings with her!! Thanks everyone for all the presents!!! She got so spoiled.

And the results are....

Well I decided to get Kaylin tested again for her milk allergy Hoping she would be over it so she could have cake and ice cream for her b-day. Well I got the results last week...and here they are...
They rate allergies on a scale from 1-5, 5 being the worst.

cats - 2
dogs - 3
egg whites - 4
cows milk - 4
peanuts - 3
soy - 2
wheat - 3

Okay...I was alright with the milk allergy. Its pretty easy to avoid, very annoying, but pretty easy. But now egg whites?!?! and Wheat and peanuts?!?! What the heck am I supposed to feed this child?!?! So now I'm working on what to transition her to after this last can of formula is gone (I'm very done spending $26 on a can of formula). Since she's allergic to soy, thats not an option. I'm thinking about oat milk. Its pretty cool because you can make it at home for pretty cheap. Her pediatrician has given me a referral to a nutritionist so hopefully they can help me out with what to feed her. Anyone have any experience with this?? Any advice would be great!
