I forgot....

...to mention a little something I'm sure you all would like to know...

First let me say, NOTHING with the army is "official" until you have papers in your hand...so that being said ...Nathan is "unofficially" getting stationed at Ft. Drum, New York. He "unofficially" has to be there by May 25th...the day after my due date. So I'm gonna try to get induced a little early so he can be here for the birth and then move to Ft. Drum as soon as I feel ready. I was kinda hoping to get stationed somewhere a little closer at first and then eventually work my way over to the east coast...but of course things never go the way you want them too. I'm sure it will be fun in New York. There are a lot of places to visit around that area so I'm excited about that. Just one more thing to add to my "Things I thought I'd never do" list. Seems that list is getting way too long...WAY too fast.

Hope you all will come visit!! :)

It's about time!!

Okay...here's a few pictures for you all to enjoy! First picture if you haven't already guessed is my belly (taken last week). I chopped my head off because my face is starting to swell and I don't look so great. I have definatly hit the "uncomfortable stage" but I'll take this over the sleepness nights that are soon to come!
Here is the funnest 17 month old you'll ever meet!! I know you've all missed seeing her cute little face! She is growing and learning like crazy! She def. has her daddy's personality! Such a ham!!

"Boom Boom Boom" as Kaylin would say! She was SOOO mad when we made her put the gun down!
Here's me and Nathan at the Georgia Aquarium! Sorry I don't have more pics from my trip to visit Nathan...we were too occupied with each other to worry about taking pictures. It was SOOOO great to see him! We had the best time just being together....not doing a whole lot. Nathan said it was so nice to not be on a strict schedule, to be able to to whatever he wanted when he wanted. We only have a couple more weeks until he graduates! He is SOO ready to be done with Basic Training! And I'm sooo done not having my husband home!

A Man in a Uniform!!

Nathan was FINALLY able to send me a pic last week! WOO HOO! I was dying to see him in all his army gear! Doesn't he look so handsome!?!? Its so weird to see him like this! But I love it!

By this time next week I will be at the airport getting ready to fly to Atlanta to see him! I am SOOO excited! I can't even describe it! I can't believe we're almost done with this part of our journey and we made it! I'm so grateful for prayer and for the strength that Heavenly Father has blessed us both with! I'm so grateful to have a husband who does whatever he needs to do to take care of his family!

Nathan really does seem to be enjoying himself. This whole army thing is right up his alley. He said Basic Training is like Scout camp for men..LOL! He gets to carry around 2 guns everywhere he goes. He's also been able to share the gospel with a few guys in his platoon. He LOVES to teach and is always ready to share the gospel. I admire him for that. One of the guys he's been teaching is thinking about getting baptized! Its so fun to get letters from him and hear all his stories. It's been really interesting writing letters back and forth...I never imagined we would have to do that. It has been kind of fun though. In a weird way it has brought us closer together.

Well there's a bit of an update on Nathan! He'll be graduating April 17th and I can't wait! After that...who knows where we'll end up! I'll let you know as soon as I find out!
