I haven't post for like 2 months! So hopefully I will get in a habit of posting so that doesn't happen again. Thanks Summer for reminding me! :)
Well let's see....the holidays were fun but I'm glad they're over. Why does it seem like there are 10 holidays in the last 3 months of the year?? I hate how busy it gets during those months and then the rest of the year is just ho-hum. Although it was busy, we did have fun. We spent Thanksgiving with Nathan's family and Christmas with mine. Here's a Christmas pic!
Last week Kaylin gave us a scare. I'm breastfeeding her but after a feeding last Tuesday she was still acting hungry so I decided to make her 2 oz of formula. (She's had formula before while me and Nathan went on a date) Well while she was eating I noticed the skin around her month started getting red and splotchy...I didn't think much of it since baby' s skin is so thin is often does that. Well about 30 min after she ate the formula her whole face was red a splotchy and her ears, hands, and feet were all swollen! So I called her Dr. and I couldn't get in with them til 2 (it was 12 when I called) so we just went to the ER. Well we hadn't even gotten in to see a dr. there by 2 so we just went over the the Dr.'s office. He told us what we already knew, that is was an allergic reaction. But now we just had to figure out what it was from...either the bottle, nipple, or the formula. So the dr. made an appointment for her with an allergist the next day. The allergist pretty much narrowed it down to a milk allergy. She's getting a blood test done next week and then we have another appointment with the allergist the following week. Hopefully he'll be able to tell us for sure what she's allergic to. But until then I can't have any dairy in my diet! Its very annoying having to read every label! But its worth it to keep my little girl healthy. So I'll let you know what we find out from the allergist after the appointment. Sorry for the novel. lol.
Well my sis-in-law, Summer (the one who started me on blogging), took some very cute pictures of Kaylin last week. She has some of the pictures on her blog but I wanted to add some too. They turned out so cute!! I'm gonna have her take some more! :)
I just love my baby!! Isn't she the cutest little thing?! She just started blabbering and she's trying to laugh. She's so fun!
So here's what I've been doing this week. We've been using these nightstands that we bought at savers since we got married. Well I finally got tired of looking at these ugly things so I decided to do something about it. Here's what I did!!

Samantha, your nightstands are wayyy toooo cute!! Love em!We should get together and be crafty sometime. lol
Sam, your nightstands are so cute! I have been on quite a craft high, since Justin and I got and married and would love to paint one of our end tables in the living room and possibly a chest. Did you have to sand them down or did you just prime them? And what kind of paint did you use? Let me know when you get a chance. THANKS!
